Files and document content

The app reads files the user opens and, when All files access is enabled, indexes supported files in shared storage so its document-reader and file-manager features work. File contents are not sent to the publisher. A file shared through Android's Open with or Share command may be copied to private cache, with a 512 MB limit, so it can be read locally.

App records

Recent-file paths and favorite-file paths are stored in private app preferences. Temporary import, share, and APK staging copies are stored in private cache. These records remain on the device and can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Android may evict cache files automatically.

All files access

The app requests MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE for its core whole-device file-management function. It uses this access to discover, categorize, search, inspect, open, share, and—only after an explicit confirmation—delete files selected by the user. This access is not used to upload files.

APK handoff

REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES is used only when the user selects an APK already stored on the device. The app stages a temporary private-cache copy and supplies Android's installer with a protected read-only URI. Android controls source authorization and the final install decision. The app does not silently install software or download APKs.

PDF creation and editing

Text and images chosen for PDF creation are processed locally and the resulting file is saved to the device. On supported Android system versions, PDF annotations are saved only when the user chooses to create an edited copy.

Sharing and external apps

When the user chooses Share, Open externally, or Install, Android transfers control to another app selected by the user. That recipient's privacy practices apply after the handoff. Google Play services and the Android operating system may process diagnostic or store information independently of this app and this policy.

Children and sale of data

The app is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not sell or share personal information with the publisher or advertising partners.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, the publisher will update this policy and its effective date before the changed version is distributed.
